Hands On / Earth Report: TVE film on mushroom growing on BBC World

In December 2002, I participated in the production of the short film "Farming Fungus", which is about growing edible mushrooms in northern Germany. The production company TVE (Television Trust for the Environment) makes films about environmental issues which are broadcast by several television companies including BBC World.

The film "Farming Fungus", which is in English, is one of the contributions to TVE's "Earth Report - Hands On" series and will be broadcast in Germany on BBC World at the following times:

Mon 31 March 2003 - 23:30
Tue 01 April 2003 - 03:30, 11:30
Sat 05 April 2003 - 18:30
Sun 06 April 2003 - 09:30

Please see www.tve.org/ho for further information on the Hands On program and on growing mushrooms.

TVE is an independent, non-profit production and distribution company which was established in 1984 to specialise in environment, development, health and human rights issues. All its films for broadcast are made on a strictly editorially-independent basis. TVE is a partner of the Intermediate Technology Development Group (ITDG, www.itdg.org ).

BBC World is available in Germany on many cable TV networks. It is also available in about 200 other countries and in many hotels. Please see www.bbcworld.com > TV Listings for broadcasting times in other countries.
